Sleepy Dragon - THE PREDATORS
ah.
A lvls GP exam is on Thursday.
ah.
Why must Singaporeans be proficient in English.
You see ah, English people must be proficient in English
Japanese proficient in Japanese
So I guess Singaporeans should be proficient in Singlish mah.
If all subjects were in Singlish, students would have done better.
Or at least I know I would.
Anyway hor. I want that RNRS concert tee. Pei Yee help me get leh. =/

The Pillows - My Foot
I listened to Hito iro yesterday. It's okay I guess...just that when the song was about to climax it kinda cut off cuz it was a radio rip(teh pek chekness!!!). The song's definitely more dramatic sounding than Glamorous sky, most probably complimenting the scenes in NANA2. As I predicted, squabbles are already starting in forums/bbs'. GAH. So what if Hito iro ain't punk, glam sky wasn't punk AT ALL please. If they really did punk it definitely won't sell at all(at least I know Singaporeans won't buy it lah okay?). SO, they want to make something which pleases the public AND something which has to fit into the movie nicely. People like to listen to things pleasant to their ears. Would they fancy stuff similar to Sex Pistols? I don't think so. Generally the public prefers saccharine lyrics over those which are cynical/sarcastic. Hito iro is in no way a pop song. It's a rock BALLAD for goodness sake. People just don't know their music genres, and they start to bitch on the forums, making a fool out of themselves. I'm not being biased, I'm not saying that I actually fancy Hito iro more than glam sky because of Takuro's participation. I'm just suckers for rock ballads. True enough, the new song really sounds like as though Teru could sing it if they kinda pitched it lower. Takuro was probably asked to produce the single because of GLAY's background. It's kind of similar to Black Stones' (BLAST). Oh! Most importantly, I do not dislike L'arc-en-Ciel. I love them actually. I'm not taking any sides here.
So for now, here's the overall ranking of songs by NANA starring Mika Nakashima:
1. BLOOD 2. Hito iro 3. My Medicine 4. Glamorous Sky 5. ISOLATION
That's my two cents worth.
BLACK STONES
I seriously think Nobu rocks. =D BALDY RAWKS TOO. LOL.
...I kinda dislike Trapnest. =X

Nothing interesting today...just posting something I found...
Saw this at Yahoo!Japan auctions. Ticket to GLAY's FC only live at Yokohama Blitz. Nothing special...just that the friggin person's asking for 80 000yen,which is like SGD1000? Saw tickets to RNRS~re-birth~ for 2/3 and 2/4 next year and they were reasonably priced. They came in a pair. T_____T I SO WANNA GO. BUT I HAVE NO WAY TO GET THERE. sad.

Fergie - London Bridges
Ah. Finally I have all my results back. My grades are like rock bottom. Now's the time to panick panick panick. Oooo yea. Fun, isn't it? The thing's that, I'm like slacking away my days.
Anyway I just received the Rebirth ~Rock 'n' Roll Swindle at Budoukan~ dvd and Natsuoto. I totally love the dvd...though I have yet to watch the whole concert. The documentary part was really interesting, though this time there were less dorky moments. I like the part where Hisashi was totally caught off guard when his bandmates surprised him halfway through the 2/2 Zepp Tokyo live. Priceless. .........I think Sashi likes strawberry cakes. What the hell.
Like it or not, I detest Alice Nine. Why? Because I'm forever critical when it comes to new bands, especially when they are categorised under VISUAL KEI. I detest crazy fangirls more. They're like arrogant and pushy. Ew. That's why I avoid most japanese events involving bands playing those alice nine, gazette and what-have-you covers when I can, just so that I can avoid crazy arrogant fangirls. Hell...sometimes I really doubt they even know the band member's names and song titles. It's that sad.
::: Now Playing ::: Red Hot Chili Peppers - By the Way
Ooooo. After an uneventful day at school, I switched on my comp and found some interesting news. I'm like totally elated.
For the upcoming movie NANA 2, Takuro's gonna be producing the theme song, which will be sung by Nakashima Mika (NANA). Isn't that wonderful news? Oh yes it is. I'm so EXCITED! Glamorous Sky was quite a good song. It fitted NANA's image perfectly, and so did the other songs in that maxi single. The thing is that, once HYDE has set the standard, Takuro'll have the responsibility of composing something which has to please Ai Yazawa's fans and those of Nakashima's too. Not an easy task. For some reasons I'm not a fan of lyrics written by Yazawa. =/
Somehow...I sense a GLAY vs. L'arc~en~Ciel war impending. Oh no. Not again. Single Title: 一色 (Hitoiro)
Artist: NANA starring Mika Nakashima Release date: 29.11.2006 Tracklist: 一色 / Eyes For the Moon Instrumental (Total of 4 tracks) Price: Y1,223 (tax-in)
Music by Takuro (GLAY), Words by Yazawa Ai, Produced by Takuro (GLAY).
Source : LINK OUT Official sites : NANA 2 Movie homepage Something interesting: GLAY X EXILE Collaboration single - SCREAM
五月天 (MAYDAY) X ENERGY Collaboration - 秒杀
I DETEST ENERGY. Mayday's okay, some of their stuff are actually quite good. I liked EXILE when Shun was in it, but apparently he has recently left. Sad. Was totally disappointed when Shun was replaced by this 21 yr old guy. Like...what the hell. What a total misfit. Anyway, that's not the point I wanna make. The main reason for posting these videos is to show that...the collaboration between MAYDAY and ENERGY is a blatant copy of GLAY X EXILE collaboration. Oh well. It's not like as if it's the first time I've seen blatant copies of GLAY stuff (Yeah...even when it comes to concert pamphlets). I've long gotten used to it. By the way... SCREAM wasn't really a good song to start with, so obviously 秒杀 is like totally crappy.
