now playing: Beautiful World - Utada Hikaru I bet most Singaporean anime go-ers would have read this piece of article(stolen from manda's blog) on the Straits Times. I doubt this particular distributor will last long here. They ticked off anime fans big time (which isn't really a good thing from marketing perspective). Sure their video quality might be crystal clear but what about the subs? I'm sure fansubbers sub anime way way waaaay better. And anime fans have to wait like forever before the anime is released on dvds/vcds. It's retarded. I mean if you're trying to do a business then deliver the anime series promptly lah! I'm sure die hard anime fans will line their pockets with gold. Who the hell will actually WAIT and PAY for something they can get FAST and FREE. Odex isn't the sole distributor anyways. Just boycott them. Buy from other distributors. I'm resorting to the more economical way. Watch online. There's always dailymotion, divx stage 6 and veoh. Gah. I'm so so so extremely pissed apparently due to the fact that I'm a Starhub user. I need to move to Japan. Like. Now. Anyway I found out this morning that a fellow GLAY fan had just passed away. I've known him for quite some time via several bbs and he was a nice person. He was gonna be 24 in a few months. The news of his passing was so sudden...was really shocked. Life's so unpredictable. I bet everyone's gonna miss his posts... rest in peace, wherever you are.
